DECIDING ON A FINISH

Flat

This sheen is great for low traffic areas and ceilings due to it's lack of shine. Flat paints hide imperfections better than any other sheen but are less scrubbable than the glossier finishes. Dark colors may look lighter and dustier due to a lack of sheen.

Velvet

This sheen provides an elegant finish that remains soft yet scrubbable and more suited for moderate traffic areas.

Eggshell

This is a durable, smooth finish that works great in children's bedrooms and other high traffic area. It is one of our most popular finishes due to how resistant and washable it is without being overly glossy.

Satin

This sheen offers the same durability as Eggshell, but has slighly more of a gloss to it. This finish is perfect if you want the durability yet not quite as much shine as a semi-gloss.
